(Creston) The Creston Police Department responded to a two-vehicle accident near the Creston High School this (Wednesday) morning.
According to the report, A 16-year-old female was driving a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica at the intersection of Spruce and Townline Street, leaving the High School. The teen thought it was clear to drive through the intersection and proceeded to drive south and struck an eastbound 2017 Chevrolet Equinox on the driver’s side. The driver of the Equinox, 71-year-old Kathy Goodrich of Creston, was trapped in the vehicle. Goodrich was safely removed from the vehicle. She complained of minor pain, but was checked and clear by medics.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
