(Red Oak) A Red Oak woman and a juvenile have been arrested for Theft 2nd Degree.
The Red Oak Police Department says officers were called to the loss prevention specialist at the Hy-Vee Food Store in Red Oak where they were told that for approximately the last four months 35-year-old Sarah Hill and a juvenile female had not been paying for items at the self-checkout. The estimated value of the items taken by Hill was approximately $2,600 and the items taken by the juvenile were valued at approximately $1,800.
Hill was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and held on $5,000 cash bond. The juvenile was released to a guardian and will have court on a later date.
