(Atlantic) Clogging quartet “Happy”, from Atlantic, placed 5th in the Iowa State Fair’s Bill Riley Talent Search Championship Show.
Around 100 senior division acts from across the state of Iowa qualified to compete on the Anne & Bill Riley stage. The dancers from Villa Dance Company, James Brown, Drayce Moore, Kylie Templeton and Nelley Pelzer clogged their way from preliminaries, to semifinals then on to the championship show with eleven other performers.
Five acts were awarded during the championship round. “Happy” received 5th place overall and received a cash prize.
