(Glenwood) A Mills County man is in custody following a search warrant in Glenwood recovering tens of thousands of dollars in stolen property.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office charged 43-year-old Randy Dean Burton of Glenwood with several felony charges. Burton is held in the Mills County Jail on an $86,000 bond.
On Monday, the Mills County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at 62700 Mahaffey Road in Glenwood. During the search, law enforcement recovered three stolen vehicles and over $30,000 in stolen property. The stolen items included tools, construction equipment, firearms, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office stated with the execution of this search warrant and recovery of items, they have been able to solve and close several thefts that have occurred in Mills and surrounding areas dating back to January 2022.
