(Missouri Valley) The Missouri Valley and Modale Fire Departments responded to a car versus train (hauling coal) accident on County Road K-45 in Harrison County.
According to the Missouri Valley Fire Department, the call went out at around 9:27 p.m. on Sunday. No one was injured in the crash. Authorities say it took the train about one-half mile to stop.
The Missouri Valley Fire Department, Modale Fire Department, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, and Iowa State Patrol were at the scene.
