(Red Oak) Two people suffered injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Montgomery County.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened around 3:28 a.m. on Sunday at 100th Street and Highway 48. The driver, Drake Rieber of Elliott, and passenger Brandon Misner of Elliott were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Both occupants left the scene and called 9-1-1 in Cass County.
According to the report, the 2009 F-250 pickup rolled once and came to rest in the south ditch. An OWI investigation is being conducted, and pending the results of a toxicology report, charges may be filed.
