(Council Bluffs) A Council Bluffs man suffered life-threatening injuries when his motorcycle collided with an SUV in Council Bluffs.
Council Bluffs Police say the accident happened at 9:27 p.m. on Thursday at S24th Street and 23rd Avenue. Authorities identified the injured motorcycle driver as 18-year-old Kaden Desantiago. He was transported to an area trauma center with life-threatening injuries.
According to the report, Desantiago was driving eastbound on 23rd Avenue when a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by 24-year-old Bryce Smith of Council Bluffs, turned left in front of the 2017 GROM motorcycle.
Authorities believe alcohol to be a factor in the crash.
