(Atlantic, IA) – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spoke to Atlantic citizens today on multiple issues, one being a focus on the economy. DeSantis emphasized that the United States government is giving away the local energy and farming industries overseas, as he wants the money to go back into the middle class.
With an increase in prices on the middle class, Ron DeSantis spoke that Congress is spending too much money, to the point that the Federal Reserve needs to print even more money to keep up with the spending. He emphasized that the spending needs to stop, otherwise, somebody is going to have to pay.
Iowa is the biggest ethanol producer in the United States, and DeSantis wants to keep American energy producers in business. This is a big help to Iowa as ethanol makes billions of dollars for the state. DeSantis also focused on agriculture. He wants to make it easier for farmers in Iowa to be able to produce their goods and make more money nationwide.
DeSantis is going to visit all 98 counties in Iowa throughout his campaign tour for the presidential election.
