New Drug Found In Iowa

(Des Moines) A dangerous new drug is turning up in black market drugs sold in Iowa.  The Division of Criminal Investigation confirmed the veterinary tranquilizer Xylazine found in illegal drugs sold in the Dubuque area this summer.  Xylazine is often used for lacing Fentanyl, powder and pills, and heroin.  There is no known antidote for an overdose of Xylazine.
