(Harrison Co) A Nebraska man died in a two-vehicle accident in Harrison County Tuesday morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says 63-year-old Gino Marco Lollio, of Cape Coral, Florida, was driving a 2015 Kenworth Semi southbound on Interstate 29 at around 8:49 a.m. when, for unknown reasons, Lollio crossed the center median into oncoming traffic. The semi struck a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by 61-year-old Chris Phillip Sweetman, of Omaha. Sweetman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Lollio was transported by Missouri Valley Rescue to CHI in Missouri Valley.
The accident investigation is ongoing.
