(Audubon) APEX Clean Energy is proposing a new wind farm in Audubon County. Jared Hersberger introduced the company’s plan to the supervisors on Tuesday morning.
Audubon County Supervisor Chairman Doug Sorensen says the company is seeking landowners to signup up for between 66 and 100 turbines, producing 400 megawatts of power.
The company would start in 2027 or 2028, with an operation start date set for 2029.
