(Guthrie Center) Clarinda Head Football Coach Collin Bevins faces Drug Possession and Public Intoxication Charges following his arrest on July 30 at the River Ruckus Concert in Guthrie Center.
According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Officer arrest report, security guards at the concert attempted to escort 29-year-old Collin Bevins out of the area in the early morning hours on July 30 for trying to fight with other males inside the grounds. When security guards asked Bevins to leave, he refused and was arrested for public intoxication. During a post-arrest search, deputies found a THC Vape pen that had an odor of marijuana.
Bevins faces charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 18, and arraignment on September 8.
