(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors this morning approved a joint resolution with the City of Walnut to establish stop conditions and signage at the intersection of North Street (G16) and Antique City Drive (M47).
The Supervisors explained that the reason for adding these stop signs is to help alleviate the truck traffic in town.
The Supervisors also gave approval of the traffic safety improvement program application for Volunteer Fire Department activated warning beacons; and approval of the telecommunications easement for Western Iowa Networks at the Roads Operations Center.
