(Adair Co) An Ottumwa man was arrested on a drug and weapons charges in Adair County.
The Adair Police Department says 26-year-old Demetri Nauvon McDonald was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana 3rd and Persons Ineligible to Carry Dangerous Weapons. The charges stem from a traffic stop at S 5th and the I-80 eastbound on-ramp. McDonald was held on $3,000 cash or surety bond.
The Greenfield Police Department arrested 33-year-old Kenny Joe Cunningham, of Greenfield, on July 30th for Criminal Mischief 4th. According to the report, Cunningham had forcibly put his head through the passenger window of a GMC Sonoma out of anger during an argument with his father, breaking the window. Cunningham was held on $1,000 cash or surety bond.
The Adair Police Department arrested 31-year-old Tyler Lee Carter, of Adair, on August 2nd for Public Intoxication. Carter was held on $300 cash or surety bond.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office cited and released 19-year-old Tyler Nolan McVay, of Fontanelle, on August 5th for OWI 1st Offense, Possession of Alcohol Under Age and Minor Use of Tobacco/Vapor Product.
