(Camp Dodge, IA) – One hundred Iowa National Guard soldiers are getting ready to head to the U-S southern border this month. Governor Kim Reynolds authorized the deployment this past spring. The soldiers, along with 30 Iowa Department of Public Safety employees will be in Texas for 30 days to help with border security.
