(Red Oak) Montgomery County Deputies conducted a traffic stop early this morning at 230th Street and Highway 48, arresting 23-year-old Timothy Dethlef Asmus of Audubon. During the investigation, authorities found Asmus in possession of a controlled substance. Deputies transported Asmus to the Montgomery County Jail and held him on a $1,000 bond.
The Montgomery County K-9 assisted the deputies at the scene.
