(Des Moines) A man faces life behind bars for a deadly robbery in Des Moines. Dontaye Burton was found guilty Wednesday for the murder and robbery of Sean Chapman at an apartment building last year. Prosecutors say surveillance video showed Burton and a second suspect removing items from Chapman’s apartment. He was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds. Burton face a mandatory life without parole prison term when he is sentenced next month. The second suspect in the deadly robbery goes on trial in November.
