(Fairfield) A Fairfield teen convicted of killing his Spanish teacher plans to appeal his life sentence. Attorneys for Willard Miller filed a notice to appeal this week. The 17-year-old was sentenced to life with parole earlier this month, and a minimum of 35 years served for the 2021 killing of Nohema Graber. Prosecutors said Miller and co-defendant Jeremy Goodale killed their teacher with a baseball bat and hid her body. Goodale’s trial in the matter is set for November.
