(Atlantic) The Atlantic softball team has a few nights off before resuming play this week on Wednesday, with four straight home games to finish the regular season.
Atlantic Head Coach Terry Hinzmann says the team took a little time off after going every day for the last three weeks.
The team will report back to practice on Tuesday, get ready for the non-conference game against Treynor, and get back into softball shape before finishing off the Conference regular season at home against Red Oak on Thursday, Lewis Central on Friday, and Denison-Schleswig on Monday, July 3.
Atlantic ends the regular season at home against Denison on July 3. This will be the second meeting between the two teams. The Trojans won the first time around 9-5 at Denison.
The Trojans stand second in the Hawkeye Ten Conference at 11-4, one game behind the league leader Creston, and (15-15) overall.
