(Earlham) Atlantic won two events and placed in 10 others on Tuesday at the Cardinal Early Bird Relays at Earlham. There were no team scores kept.
The Trojans earned gold from freshman Jayci Reed in the 100-meter hurdles (17.70), and the Distance Medley Relay team topped the field in a time of (4:37.21). Morgan Botos, Claire Wiederstein, Abby Smith, and Claire Pellett carried the baton.
Atlantic brought home three second-place finishes, Botos in the 400 Meter Hurdles (1:10.84), Pellett in the 1500 (5:15.11), and the quad of Nicole Middents, Mariah Huffman, Chloe Mullenix, and Ava Rush in the 4×400 Meter Relay in a time of (4:21.89).
Ava Rush was third in the 400 meters (1:02.52), Mullenix finished 7th in the 200 meters (29.06), and Aubry Guyer finished 8th in the 800 in a time of (2:40.80)
Abbi Richter heaved the discus (94-03) and finished third, the 4×800 Meter Relay was 5th, and the 800 Meter Sprint Medley Relay ended in 6th Place.
Atlantic travels to Denison on Thursday for the Hawkeye Ten Conference North Coed Meet.
