(Des Moines) Several bills restricting LGBTQ related education and medical treatment pass through the Iowa House. Proposals passed include bans on gender-transitioning medical treatment for Iowa’s youth and K-6 instruction on gender identity and sexual orientation. Another bill will remove books from school libraries if they have explicit material.
