(Carson) The Dreamland Theatre is among the top five local attraction finalists in the Omaha Metropolitan area Tourism awards.
Susan Miller, President of the Carson Business club, who was thrilled at the news, does not know who nominated the Theatre for this award, but she is glad that they are fast-tracking into the “top five.” Miller describes the Theatre as “old school” with new movies.
The 166-seat Theatre shows new-release movies every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. Miller said ten-to-12 years ago; they digitalized the movie projection.
Voting is underway through April 3; The winners will be announced and highlighted on billboards, and in promotional videos on social media beginning May 7, during National Travel and Tourism Week.
The Metropolitan Area tourism Awards honor attractions and restaurants, hotels, and retail shops that have made a difference in the lives of locals and visitors. The Public is invited to honor those great memories and exceptional experiences by voting for the best tourism business.
