(Griswold) The Griswold School Board continues to explore the possibility of moving to a four-day school week. The Board set goals last fall, and researching this issue is one of them.
Schools Superintendent Dave Henrichs says the Board’s goal for reducing the number of class days from five to four is to attract and maintain staff members.
Henrichs is also looking at schedules and employee contracts.
The other issue is instructional time.
Henrichs says IF the Board approves the four-day school week, it will not go into effect until the 2024-2025 school year.
