(Omaha/Valley, Nebraska) A significant winter storm is expected to sweep through eastern Nebraska and portions of west central and northwest Iowa Tuesday night and Wednesday.
The impact could be as far south as Interstate 80 in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa. The storm could impact travel late Tuesday, Wednesday, and possibly Thursday.
The storm system is forecast to move out on Thursday.
