(Adair Co) Two people face drug charges in Adair County.
The Adair Police Department arrested Trayvon Damontas Patrick Taylor, of Des Moines, on February 18th for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 2nd Offense. Taylor was held on $1,000 cash or surety bond.
Adair Police cited 21-year-old Marissa Jean Bonds, of Des Moines, on February 18th for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1st Offense. Bonds was released.
In other activity, the Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested 55-year-old Charles Henry Elings III, of Adair, on February 13th for Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury or Mental Illness. Elings was released on his own recognizance.
The Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old Brian Charles Shannon, of Greenfield, on February 14th on a Dallas County warrant. Shannon was transferred to Dallas County authorities.
The Sheriff’s Office arrested 67-year-old Dennis Gene Killion, of Orient, on February 16th for Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury or Mental Illness. Killion was held on $1,000 cash or surety bond.
It should be noted a criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
