(Adair Co) A Boone man was arrested on drug charges in Adair County.
The Adair Police Department arrested 57-year-old Adam Duane Wright following a traffic stop on Friday for Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd or Subsequent and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Wright was held on $5,000 cash or surety bond.
In other activity, the Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Benjiman Ray Searl, of Panora, on Friday on a mittimus warrant. Searl must serve the balance of a 30-day sentence before being released.
The Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Corry Donald Johnston, of Des Moines, following a traffic stop on February 1st for Driving While Barred, Providing False Identification Information, and on an outside warrant. Johnston was released on his own recognizance on the Adair County charges and then turned over to Ringgold County where he had a $15,000 cash only bond on their arrest warrant for multiple charges.
The Sheriff’s Office arrested 58-year-old Donald Duane Worth, of Lewis, on January 30th on a warrant for Violation of Probation. Worth was held on $1,000 cash or surety bond.
