Northern Iowa Digging Out After Heavy Snowfall

(Des Moines)  —  Northern Iowans are digging out after a heavy snowfall.

 

Dylan Dodson from the National Weather Service in Des Moines says a handful of spots got ten to 12 inches of snow.  He says more rain is possible in central Iowa this weekend.  Another system next week could bring rain in southern Iowa and a wintery mix in the north.
