(Des Moines, IA) Local Salvation Army staffers could not believe their eyes when a young family dropped off 95 toys. The Salvation Army in Des Moines says a family, who recently moved to Iowa, sets aside money each year to give to their community at Christmas time. Their six-year-old son helped pick out the toys. The Salvation Army has a goal of around 5,000 toys to give to needy local families. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off thru December 15th at several locations.
