Atlantic Sophomore Aiden Smith has High Goals for the 2022-2023 Wrestling Season

(Atlantic) Atlantic freshman Aiden Smith finished 6^th (106) at the State Wrestling Tournament one year ago. The sophomore starts the season at (113) pound weight class but will eventually go down to 106.

Smith says the team goal is to qualify for State Duals. He mentions several teammates that will push him in the room this season.

Smith wrestles year-round and had a good offseason in preparation for this season.

Smith won the Hawkeye Ten Conference Tournament at (106), was a sectional and district champion, 6th in the Class 2A State Tournament, and finished the 2021-2022 campaign with a 54-10 record.

Atlantic opens the dual season at ADM on December 1.
