(State) A new format will be used in postseason wrestling this season with the elimination of Sectional Tournaments.
There will be twelve sites in Classes 1A and 2A for District Tourneys. The top two wrestlers in each weight class will make the state field. Class 3A has eight locations and will send the top three wrestlers to state.
A couple of the Class 1A host sites include ACGC and Riverside. ACGC, AHSTW, and Nodaway Valley/O-M will be among the ten schools competing in Guthrie Center. Some of the local squads in Oakland will be CAM, Griswold, and Riverside.
Class 2A has a District Tourney at Glenwood. Atlantic, Audubon, and Harlan will be among the eight programs at that site.
