(Atlantic) The 2002 Atlantic Football team will be honored this Friday night at Trojan Bowl. The 20-anniversary of the team that brought home the title will gather before the game in a separate area in the Trojan Bowl parking lot for players, their family members, coaches, and administrators to meet, greet, and eat at a tailgate! There will be reserved seating at the Trojan Bowl for players.
The team members will be honored at 6:30 p.m. at the Trojan Bowl before the Ballard vs. Atlantic football game so that all interested community members can be there to support the team. Many of the team members are traveling a great distance to attend the gathering, and reflect on past successes, share current endeavors with their teammates; community members, and view the renovated Trojan Bowl.
Those wishing to play golf on Saturday, September 17, will meet at Atlantic Golf and Country Club at 9:00 a.m.
The planning committee consisted of Andy Mitchell, Joe Brummer, Kelly Muller, Gaylord Schelling, and Bob Sweeney.
