(Atlantic) The Atlantic lineup is set for Saturday’s opening cross-country meet at Glenwood. Atlantic Head Coach Dan Vargason held the final time trial on Tuesday night.
On average, the girl’s team cut 2:58 off their times from the time trial in the first week of preseason workouts.
The girl’s lineup includes; Ava Rush, Claire Pellett, Belle Berg, Katrina Williams, Mariah Huffman, Faith Altman, and Haley Huffman.
The top seven of the boy’s team members are Alex Sonntag, Tyrell Williams, Bennett Whetstone, Christian Thompson, Mason McFadden, Devon Fields, and Brayden Spurr.
Coach Vargason noted that the top seven boy runners were faster than at this same time one year ago. He feels both teams had vital time trial performances and are ready to go at Glenwood.
The meet starts at 9:00 a.m.
