(Atlantic) The Atlantic football team returns a lot of experience from a team that went 3-6 one year ago and ended the season winning two of their final three games.
Head Coach Joe Brummer says over eleven players saw the starting lineup at least once in almost all positions last season.
Coach Brummer welcomes back an equal amount of experience on defense.
Coach Brummer and staff will be holding auditions in the kicking game, with the loss of Lane Nelson to graduation. The top punting prospect appears to be Colton Rasmussen, who punted at the J.V. level one year ago. Reid Woodward did some kicking on the freshman squad one year ago.
The Trojans travel to Carroll on August 19 for a scrimmage and open the season at Glenwood on August 26.
