(Rock Valley, IA) — A western Iowa man has been arrested for the sexual abuse of a 14-year-old. The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that 33-year-old Justin Van Veldhuizen is accused of assaulting the teenage girl at a home in Rock Valley. KCAU/TV reports Van Veldhuizen was already in jail last February when the victim came forward with the accusation. She says he allegedly assaulted her on two separate occasions in 2007. An arrest warrant was served as Van Veldhuizen was being discharged last week from the Iowa Department of Corrections. He had been serving time for an unrelated sexual assault.
