(Atlantic) Dan Haynes, with the Nishna Valley Family YMCA in Atlantic, updated the Board of Supervisors Thursday on the new child care space at the Y.
The YMCA renovated one of the racquetball courts into a childcare space, which has been licensed for 33 children.
Haynes said the project totaled almost $400,000. They secured some grants, but they are short around $88,000 for the project. Haynes asked the Supervisors if some of the ARPA funds could be used. The Board asked that an application for the funding be filled out and turned back in.
