(Des Moines) Two southwest Iowa farms were awarded Choose Iowa Marketing and Promotion grants from the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.
Whitetail Valley Farm, located near Stanton, was awarded $21,000 to increase their production and sales of apple-based beverages. The total project cost is $46,152.
Brun Ko Farm, located near Exira, was awarded $15,000 to increase vegetable production by increasing washing and storage capacity. The total project cost is $30,000.
