(Des Moines) The Iowa Department of Public Health’s weekly data shows 67 additional positive tests for COVID-19 in Region 4 from Wednesday, March 16 through Wednesday, March 23.
Over the past seven days, the Iowa Department of Public Health reports 43 new positive tests in Pottawattamie County, four in Crawford County, five in Harrison County, four in Mills County, one in Page County, three in Cass County, two in Shelby County, three in Montgomery County, and two in Adams County.
IDPH also reports two additional deaths in Pottawattamie County, and one each in Crawford, Cass, Montgomery and Audubon Counties.
Listed below is the total number of positive tests per county in Region 4.
Pottawattamie- 27,727 (312 deaths)
Crawford- 4,992 (54 deaths)
Harrison- 3,831 (93 deaths)
Mills- 3,831 (42 deaths)
Page- 3,645 (46 deaths)
Cass- 3,223 (77 deaths)
Shelby- 2,926 (51 deaths)
Montgomery- 2,411 (53 deaths)
Fremont- 1,512 (24 deaths)
Audubon- 1,206 (20 deaths)
Adams- 885 (13 deaths)
In Region 1, the IDPH reports two additional positive tests in Guthrie County, (2,584 total positive tests) (45 deaths) and no additional positive tests in Adair County, (1,805 total positive tests) (51 deaths).
