(Atlantic) The Atlantic High School Archery Team claimed the state title in the Bullseye competition at the NASP State Archery Tournament in Des Moines over the weekend.
Cooper Jipsen and Connor Johnson were named to the Bullseye All-State Team, and Jipsen earned a spot on the 3D All-State Squad. Atlantic Head Coach Clint Roland was named Archery Coach of the Year.
Atlantic shot 3,381 to win the title. Connor Johnson led the team with a runner-up finish ( 292). Cooper Jipsen finished eighth with a 290. In the High School, girl’s division Mariah Hadley led the team with a 5th place finish. Hadley shot 290.
In the 3D Tournament, Atlantic finished fourth overall. Jipsen led the way with a 5th place finish with 287.
