(Council Bluffs) One person was killed and another was injured in a motorcycle accident in on I-29 early this morning.
The Council Bluffs Police Department says at 2:06 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 48.9-mile marker of I-29 northbound for a motorcycle accident. Upon arrival, officers determined a motorcycle with two passengers had left the roadway and gone into the ditch. They located a male party with serious injuries and a female party with fatal injuries. The male was transported by the Council Bluffs Fire Department to Nebraska Medicine for treatment. His condition was listed as stable this morning.
