(Atlantic) Greg Schuler received the 36th Annual Distinguished Service Award.
Bailey Smith, Executive Director of the Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce, said every year the Chamber honors a strong, passionate community leader with the Distinguished Service Award. This is the highest award for services and contributions to the Atlantic Community. The award is given in recognition of a career of outstanding, dedicated and extended service.
Smith said the nomination form for Greg Schuler was three pages long with a note at the end that said “these are just a few of his accomplishments”.
The Distinguished Service Award is given out every year at the Chamber’s annual dinner, which was held Saturday night. Greg Schuler was surprised with the award Friday morning since he could not attend the dinner due to a family Christmas.
