(Creston) The Iowa DNR will hold public meeting in Creston and Council Bluffs in February to recap hunting and trapping seasons and discuss possible rule changes.
Bryan Hayes, Fisheries Biologist with the DNR, says these will be town-hall style meetings.
The meetings are open to the public. Comments collected from these public meetings will be considered along with other related comments received by the Iowa DNR prior to proposing changes to hunting rules and regulations. Proposed rules will be presented to the Natural Resource Commission during a regular public meeting for consideration and additional public comment.
The meeting in Creston will be held on February 21 at 6:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose room of the Southern Prairie YMCA. The meeting in Council Bluffs is February 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Council Bluffs Fish & Game Club.
