(Ringgold Co.) Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Ringgold County this (Monday) morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says Alemu Enguday Temesgen, 40, of St. Joseph, Missouri, was transported to Kansas City by Life Flight. William Allen O’Conner, 18, of Clearfield, Iowa, was transported to the Ringgold County Hospital by Ringgold County EMS.
The accident happened at approximately 8:27 a.m. at P27 and Highway 2. Temesgen was driving a 2012 Buick Enclave northbound on P27 and ran a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 2. O’Conner was driving a 2005 Dodge van eastbound on Highway 2 and was struck in the passenger side by Temesgen’s vehicle.
