(Greenfield) Adair County Health System (ACHS) announced the 2021 WOW! Award winners and nominees during a special program this week.
Stephanie Linxwiler, RN, surgery, and Michelle Mensing, RN/Exempt Paramedic, EMS, received the prestigious WOW! Award, which recognizes employees who made exceptional contributions to the organization and the patients we serve.
The WOW! Award is designed to honor and celebrate employees who consistently exceeded expectations in the previous year, going above and beyond in areas including performance, service and teamwork.
“Congratulations to Stephanie and Michelle, both of whom are very deserving of this high honor,” said Catherine Hillestad, Adair County Health System CEO. “They have both continually demonstrated great skill, kindness and leadership. We are thankful they are members of our ACHS team.”
According to Hillestad, this year’s WOW! Award winners were selected from a group of 19 outstanding nominations submitted by ACHS employees.
“Receiving so many nominations is a cause for celebration, especially in such a challenging time,” said Hillestad. “Our employees performed at a very high level this year, giving their absolute best day in and day out. Also, in the busiest of years, many of our staff made time to recognize co-workers who they admire and respect.”
