Trial for Atlantic man charged with Attempted Murder set for February 22nd

(Atlantic) The trial for an Atlantic man charged with Attempted Murder and Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury will be held February 22nd. Arraignment is scheduled for January 10th.

Richard J. Doss Jr. was arrested after the Cass County Memorial Hospital notified the Atlantic Police Department of a male stabbing victim arriving at the emergency room on Sunday, December 5th. Police say the incident occurred at apartment 26B of the Walnut Hills Terrace Apartments, 1300 E. 10th Street. Air ambulance transported the victim to UNMC in Omaha. Doss Jr. was arrested the following day.
