(Creston) Creston Police arrested a Union County man on numerous charges, including motor vehicle theft.
Police arrested 42-year old Julio Cesar Villalpando Castro of Creston for two counts of Criminal Mischief 3rd, Stalking-Violation of a Court Order, Violation of a No Contact/Protective Order, and Theft 2nd-Motor Vehicle. Officers transported Villalpando Castro to the Union County Jail and held him on a $14,300 cash-only bond.
*Creston Police recovered a vehicle owned by Mario Galanakis, stolen from Mario’s Sports Bar and Grill. Police located the car that appeared to have been damaged.
*Tania Hernandez of Creston reported her vehicle had been rammed by another car multiple times. Damages estimates at $800.00.
*Jon Steffen reported that sometime around midnight, someone broke into his wife’s vehicle. Steffen advised a Leatherman tool was missing. The tool is worth an estimated $50.00.
*Tay McDonald of Atlantic reported damages to his vehicle while parked at 300 N Walnut St. The loss is estimated at $1,000.00.
