(Massena) “‘Tis the Season is the theme for this year’s third annual Massena Chambers Christmas Lighted Parade on Saturday. Chamber member Doug Venteicher says the State Champion CAM football team are the Grand Marshalls of the Parade.
“Our theme this year is “‘Tis the Season” honoring the 2021 CAM Football team,” said Venteicher. “The players, coaches, and cheerleaders will lead the parade on the fire trucks, and we would like everyone to support them and their accomplishments.”
Venteicher says parade participants will begin lining up at 5:00 p.m. in front of the school. The parade starts at 5:30 p.m.
Venteicher invites people from the surrounding community to take part, including area fire departments. The chamber’s goal is to make this event bigger every year. “Last year was down last year because of Covid, so hopefully, we can get a few more entries,” said Venteicher.
Venteicher says local businesses have donated hamburgers and hot dogs. In addition to all of that, Santa Claus will be in town.
