(Creston) Creston Police received a call of a vehicle fire on Tuesday morning at Cherry and Montgomery Streets. Police learned the vehicle was stolen from Eby’s Auto and set on fire. The red 2003 Chevy S10 received an estimated $5,000 damage.
Melody Signs, of 810 Goldenshores, in Creston, reported on Monday her gray 2009 Dodge Ram four-door was stolen from 105 E. Adams St. Signs reported miscellaneous tools, personal property, and medications were in the vehicle. The estimated loss is $13,781. Police say the pickup was recovered later that day in Ringgold County.
Creston Police arrested 42-year old Juliann Marquis Edsall, of Creston, on Tuesday, at 809 W. Adams Street, for Possession of a Controlled Substance – 3rd Offense and Possession of a Drug Paraphernalia. Officers initially transported Edsall to the Union County Jail, and authorities then transported her to the Adams County Jail and held her on a $5,000 cash or surety bond.
