(Creston) An Adams County man suffered injuries when his pickup collided with a deer in Union County.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at around 7:22 p.m. on Tuesday, within the Creston City limits. Air Rescue transported the driver, 26-year old Tyler Donald Miller, of Prescott, to Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.
According to the report, Miller was driving a southbound 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup on Highway 71 and collided with a deer. The pickup left the road, entered the ditch, rolled, and came to rest on its passenger side.
Officers say the pickup is a total loss.
