(Avoca) Last week, AHSTW voters passed a $12.9 million referendum to remodel, repair and improve the existing K-12 facilities as well as build and equip an addition to the school.
AHSTW Superintendent Darin Jones explains the scope of the project.
Jones said on Friday he met with SitelogIQ and they have started to talk about timelines.
Another referendum question on the ballot failed to get the 60-percent majority to pass and that project included adding an auditorium on to the school.
Jones said they wouldn’t be able to do anything in regards to an auditorium until at least next September, which would be the next opportunity to bring it to the voters for a second referendum question, but he said the next phase is to really learn more and evaluate where they are at with any potential toward that project.
