(Atlantic) Crowds are gathered at ceremonies honoring and mourning the military men and women who sacrificed their lives to protect America’s freedom. People gathered at the Atlantic Cemetery Field of Glory this morning to honor soldiers lost in the line of duty. Pastor Don McLean of Grace Point Evangelical Free Church gave the invocation.
Nathan Berg of Atlantic was the keynote speaker. He served with the Iowa National Guard, with a deployment to Kuwait, and two deployments to Afghanistan.

Two members of the Atlantic High School Band played Taps at the end of the ceremony.
